Subject: [ferrethealth] Ferret skin problem

The discoloration looks like what I had on a seven year old male, now
passed to the Bridge. His ears were overproducing oils and it would
migrate to the back of the neck area, more generalized. When I would
wash it off the basin of water became very orangey, and he would get the
oils back in a month or so. I never routinely bathe my ferrets so that
wasn't a reason. His was never in a spot like on Skunkers.
