you might want to try some Marshall ferret lax for obstructions and helps with hair balls.

There are many types of pet laxative, or you can make your
own by adding a flavor the ferret likes, for example,
Ferretone, to some white petroleum jelly (petrolatum). Info

It works as a laxative because it is not digestible and it is
solid enough and sticky enough to snag fur and pull it out.]
