Subject: [ferrethealth] adrenal: new to the site an need some ferret help

my ferret Gizzy is just over a year old (so im told) an has a swollen adrenal gland my vet said she needs surgery but it is varry pricy. Is there any other treatment or any thing i can do to help her? please help!!!
