Thanks for suggesting cryptococcus. That would be a relief if that's what it turns out to be even if it is a lengthy treatment. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I could not get an appt Monday so am going in late this afternoon (Tuesday)to have her checked. Maybe that would explain the occasional sneezing - I'm hoping. She never goes outside, but this is an older house, and there has been some water leakage in the bathroom area of the master bedroom. My bedroom is where most of them sleep and where two cages are, and most of the floor is carpet (more than 25 yrs since install). I know fungal infections can be hard to treat in birds (I rehab seabirds but not inside the house) but cryptococcus does sound like it responds to treatment. I'll update Wednesday.

I also checked the archives and found that previous posts about cryptococcus mention bumps and sneezing. Guess I panicked and did not even think of fungus - forgot in one of Dr Williams articles he mentions that when one hears hoof beats, think horses not zebras. I'd sure prefer treatable fungus to a benign tumor (which might regrow) needing surgery
