You had X-ray and ultrasound, did you also have the barium done?
This could very well be a blockage. My ferret Dakota did not exhibit classic signs of blockage. Only throwing up foam. A simple Xray only showed inflamed intestines. He was given three courses of anti-biotics, getting better each time then reverting. We did a barium X-ray combo and found the blockage below the stomach. He had surgery for removal that day.
