The only thing that has changed was a move upstairs from the basement. She is a suspected case of FIP and currently has very little body mass or fat. I felt the basement was too cold for her this winter and moved her about a month ago.

She is not deaf.

I will try the benedryl and see if that helps. Thanks for the suggestion.

The coronavirus that ferrets get is a mutant
of ECE which behaves like FIP but is not FIP,
and it is actually pretty rare and a really
savage disease. It is called "FIP-like",
systemic ferret coronavirus, etc.
