Are they saying this is metastatic insulinoma? You don't say what type of Metastatic cancer.
I treated a girl that has hepatocellular carcinoma. When I consulted another exotic vet after I go the biopsy back she said "and she is still alive" I replied yes and doing quite well. I swore I wouldn't ever call them again. Anyway we treated her with Milk Thistle, SAMe, pred, Urosodiol all mixed in her soup. She lived another year after diagnosis and did quite well during that year so if it is something like that, don't automatically give up hope. Best of luck to you and your kid.
