I take my ferrets to one of the very well respected vets who is nationally
known. It has been very expensive but both ferrets who have had
bilaterally adrenalectomies have done very well. My girl who had a left adrenal
surgery a year ago and the right one this past September is five and doing
great. The price was very high. $1,500 for each and additional costs for the
follow up visits. I am going to keep taking my two girls to this
wonderful and expensive vet. When I have future ferrets, I may be forced to find a
less expensive vet.
