Since I have just dealt with one being pulled and I have another fert with a
bad tooth but she is on clavomox to see if we can clear it up and then maybe
just clean the tarter off to save the tooth. Actually my vet recommend
Bene-bac or back bac to rub on the infected tooth. It is a probiotics, it
helps relief some of the pain and helps with healing but it is not a
replacement for the actual care needed, just a relief.

Oh and also you can rub ferret dental gel on the area too. They may not like
it but the fluoride in the tooth paste helps with pain and fighting the
yuck. These are all temporary relief if needed.
