There aren't many vets in Georgia who have much experience with ferrets. However, probably the best ferret vet is Dr. John Cawley at Nesbit Ferry Animal Hospital.
His address is 9850 Nesbit Ferry, Alpharetta, GA 30022-5954. His phone # is 770 642-8522. The next most experienced vet is Dr. Linda Bostic. She is closer into Atlanta and is often gone out of the office for weeks at a time. Dr. Cawley really is the best and the closest to the woman in Ringold. I have taken my kids to him for years, except for the times I drive to Dr. Cottrell in Gainesville, FL. I'm in Atlanta. It takes me an hour to get to Dr. Cawley but it is well worth it.
