Subject: [ferrethealth] Question about a snack
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

I bought a bag of dried chicken snacks for my cats.
My ferret will run them off and steal a mouthful of
jerky then run off and eat it. Since these are 100%
chicken are they OK for her to eat? She loves them
but I'm not sure I should give them to her or not.

[Please, remember that the FHL does NOT discuss
food preferences, so when answering restrict
answers to general information and resources.
If you want to discuss your food preferences with
this poster then you will need to write directly to
the poster.

Usually a flesh-based treat is a good thing for ferrets.
