When the treating veterinarian figures there are no medication increases
further possible for this ferret ask the vet about always having something
with sugar handy for him alone, such as water with Nutrical mixed in with
two forks and the slime removed from the top.
That does not help some ferrets, but we've had one get 3 more decent
months (not great but not terrible and she was not someone who was
not giving up yet) from doing that along with the meds. So, it might help
but be prepared emotionally that it might not because that trick varies
in who it helps.
