Easy answer to that. Yes, the ferret still has excessive hormones so it will time some time for them to calm down. In previous experience it's taken some 3 weeks to a couple of monthes depending on if said ferret was in season or not. Sometimes it doesn't matter if they are full on in season. Those male hormones are tough.
