[The two posters seem to me to be saying the exact same thing,
but apparently it is possible to read the first post in more than
one way about spliting. That happens sometimes.

How much total dosage should be given when you sum up all three
will be up to the treating veterinarian, of course.

Actually, if the ferrets glucose is not reaching the target (above 70) you more than
likely shouldn't split a dose three times. Rather, you should be giving the same dose 3x per day. In all likelyhood, if the concern is it's not lasting in the ferret for the full 12 hours than dividing the dose in not in the ferrets best interest. In some ferrets, it just doesn't last 12 hours. I had one such case. My vet informed me to give pred 3xper day at the same dosage.
