Subject: [ferrethealth] Suprelorin as Preventive & TN Panel
To: <ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com>

I'm planning on getting my 1 yr old a Suprelorin implant in approximately two weeks and am wondering if a TN Panel should be run. I know it would be a good idea but since I'm hoping the implant will prevent or at least slow the development/progression of adrenal disease, is a TN panel necessary? I wouldn't think twice about it if funds weren't low right now, but I recently spent over $1,000.00 getting bronchopneumonia diagnosed and treated. I also want to have blood work run in about a month so I'll have a baseline and want to check for heartworm (which hasn't ever been a concern until recently where I live) and get her started on a preventative.

Thanks.
