Polyadenomatosis is mentioned as a cause of
hypoglycemia but I don't know if ferrets ever get
those. They are not the tumor type I was thinking
of earlier, though. Ditto somatostatinoma,
nesidioblastosis, and glucagonoma. MEN1 is under
study. I'm finding nesidiodysplasia mentioned in a
human study, and I think that phaeochromocytoma
is the tumor type I was thinking of earlier but i don't
know if that has ever been found in ferrets, either.
There was no luck searching on any of those in relation
to ferrets until:
