Subject: [ferrethealth] bouncing FHL
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

Usually these notices of bouncing are sent Bcc, though occasionally not.

Some of you may have ISPs which think that the FHL is spam. Please, people educate your ISPs.

If any of you does want to leave the FHL just use the easy automated UNsubscribing address from the home page:

Normally, after two weeks of consistent bouncing addresses will be automatically removed if they appear to actually still exist. If the messages from your own ISPs consistently indicate that your addresses no longer exist, or messages from routers consistently indicate that your ISP no longer exists removal will happen sooner.

Those of you repeatedly bounce with just days between bouts of bouncing virtually always have bad addresses and those get removed.

If people are going to be away for a while this confusion can be prevented, and a lot of added work avoided for all, by just setting yourselves to "no mail" in My Groups which you can click open on your upper right of the Yahoogroups websites.

Because repeated sending of reactivation notices has gotten nowhere I am trying you privately first to see if my mails to you also bounce with messages that either address does not exist, in which case I will remove non-existant addresses from membership immediately. If I am told twice by your ISPs that your addresses do not exist any longer I will simply believe that ISP and remove the address.

Please, use the reactivation mails sent to reactivate yourselves. You each MUST reactivate yourselves. Moderators can not do this remotely. Just use the repeated reactivation mails I have been sending you or look below for other ways to do it.

So, you each have two easy options listed here for how to reactivate yourself (reactivation notices or using My Groups), and a way to remove yourself if you don't want the FHL (the UNsubscribe address). Please, use one or another to reduce our daily administrative workload, leaving more time for us to seek answers for list members.
