Just offhand -- and these are findable in the archives, I'm sure:

Flax seed oil is a decent source of Omega 3 fatty acids,

Garlic is among the things associated with Heinz Body Anemia (as
is onion), though ferrets may not have that problem or perhaps
have it less than cats. It is probably not impossible since that
form of hemolytic anemia has been encountered in otters.
