Sadly the girls were not eating at all and the vet decided it was kinder to have then PTS. They have done a PM and there was extensive liver damage and their stomachs were ulcerated. The vet believes they had a virus. maybe something they had been carrying for a while.

They had been taken from a previous home, conditions they were kept in unknown but they had been fed on cheap cat food. They were then transported a long distance to a new home. Maybe the extra stress triggered the virus off. Two others from the same place that were rehomed locally, a 5 minute walk away, are doing well.

Their symptoms are generalised weakness and loss of appetite, they have done bloods and their liver enzymes are not good, sorry don't have access to full results. Vet is recommending she has them both put to sleep, is there any treatment or would it be kinder to le them go?
