I posted a link above. I hope that it will work for everyone.

My boyfriend and I adopted a white ferret with black eyes, Isis, in January of 2009 from the SPCA. Around October of 2009 she started showing signs of adrenal disease. We took her in for the surgery in November 2009. The doctor was only able to take out the right adrenal gland. The left one was too small to really see and he didn't want to risk anything with her - so he left the left adrenal gland in.

The doctor told me that some of her hair loss after the adrenal surgery was perfectly normal and natural and that it should start growing back in 6-8 weeks.

Here we are in February already and she has lost a lot of hair. Not just shedding of a winter coat. But hair loss on her back, chest, stomach, belly and tail. She also feels very tiny in our hands. And her hip bones feel very very bony to the touch.

Isis is still eating well, drinking water, going to the bathroom normally, playing, running around and is happy.

But I am still worried about her. I am wondering if you guys can please take a look at the link that I posted and look at the difference between Isis in February 2009 and February 2010.

Please let me know any thoughts, ideas or opinions. Thank you all! Jules
