Subject: [ferrethealth] Grinding Teeth and Vet
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

Hello everyone!

I am in need of some advice. My oldest ferret monster is back to grinding his teeth after almost a month of not grinding his teeth. I orignaly took him to the vet, and he was put on pepto 0.08 ml for two weeks. I ended up putting him on it for the entire of the month due to some advice from other ferret savy people.

His furr also has gone from fluffy to a realy poor state that is rough feeling. It reminds me of his fur on the first day I got him. He had come from a guy who's son left him with him, and he was fed crap food, and not let out more than once a week or less. So, I know his furr is due to a lack of nutrients, and a lack of nutrients is due to him having possible ulcers, or something else going on.

My question is: Does anyone know of a Ferret Savy vet in Fredericksburg Virgina, Warsaw, Tappahonock, or anywhere near Colonial Beach, va?

Does the vet also do a pay plan?

I have six ferrets, and at the moment my work has been giving me 30 bucks worth of hours for two weeks. My current vet does pay plans, and at the moment, That is the only way I can go.

[Another possibility, if not, is that your
vet could use other ferret vets as
consultants.
