As an example of unusual behaviour due to adrenal disease.

Adrenal disease is not just cosmetic, it will progress from hyperplasia to neoplasia (cancer) unless it is treated.
If treatment is stopped then the disease often reurns very quickly and severely. This disease is likely to be fatal if not treated.

The only approved and proven deslorelin for ferrets is:-
Suprelorin 4.7 mg for dogs (as tested by the prime developer for ferrets, Dr Shoemaker)
This is a 12 month (nominal) implant (may last 8-24 months)

This is available from Virbac a well known drug supplier in Europe
In the UK it costs about 80 US dollar (50 UK pounds) for two implants)
even if you have to pay for 2 it is much cheaper than lupron and only one vet visit a year!

Tony (not a vet), Sugar and Suki.
In memory of Sally and Sue.
