We cut a cotton running jacket in half, and draped it over their bed. They love to crawl into the sleeve of the jacket and sleep, which keeps them out of the light a goodly amount of the time during the day. We also took an old comforter and folded it up. They love to crawl in between the folds of the comforter as well, and again that keeps them out of the light during the day. When its warm, they will sleep on top of either the comforter or the jacket, but often, even when it is warm, they will still crawl into either the comforter or the jacket. At night, we simply darken the room completely.
