Just one morre question about the lighting.=C2=A0 I have the windows comple=
tely blacked out so the only sunlight that they=C2=A0get is when they come =
out of their room.=C2=A0 Do I need to block out the sunlight or should I le=
t the sunlight shine in for normal transitions?=C2=A0So is it only artifici=
al lighting that should be avoided?=C2=A0 Their room would be full sun all =
day if I took down the blackouts.=C2=A0 Thanks again,=C2=A0 Anita
[The problem is not natural or artificial. it is duration and amount
of light, with the blue and green wavelength components being
the problem, so just allow them to be able to get into complete
darkness about 14 hours out of each 24 hours. If you do that with
drapes then if you have to turn on a light afterward let the light bulb
be an amber one since that has the least negative effect on the body's
production of natural melatonin.
