Subject: [ferrethealth] Stuart's surgery

Stuart, the vomiting ferret, underwent surgery of his tummy today. Vet
took out some buildup of stuff but there wasn't a defined hairball. I'm
glad I went ahead with the surgery; why take a chance on trying to get
it through? He is resting comfortably and dining on occasional chicken
gravy for now. And no more vomiting.
Thank you to all who wrote. There was a great variety of advice and
opinions.
