I had Coco's previous blood work from July 2009 faxed to me. Everything was normal except for low phosphorus of 3.9 (4.2-8.5) and low glucose of 3 (80-120).
I called when I got the results to verify that it in fact says the glucose was 3, because the vet never mentioned it. The receptionist said yes, it is normal for it to be abnormally low by the time it is processed by the lab so we usually also run it in-house. But she didn't see anything done in-house.
So we'll be rechecking it and keeping an eye on her.
