I don't have that kind of experience (or at least I have not noticed it), but I noticed, not only in ferret, but also with my 10 yrs old dog and some birds we implanted, that the animlas with implants start to behave like kits/younger animals (become much more active and playfull). It is a transitional phase (can not say that for all birds) and could correlate with the way the implant works. In first phase (1-4 weeks after implantation) it actually causes the rise of sexual hormones and in this time, some females actually do come in heat, wich usually lasts for 2 weeks. In males, in first month (or less) after the implantation behavioral changes (agression) can be noticed.
Hope it helped.
