Mike,

You have to be VERY CAREFUL when syringe feeding. If you can VERY GENTLY
let the food come out of the syringe with him licking it with his tongue,
that's OK. You DO NOT EVER want to squirt food into their mouths head on. They
can aspirate on it very easily and then you have real trouble. You can
also squirt and again VERY GENTLY in the side of their mouth. Do you think
Sprout may have an ulcer? That will make them not want to eat. Do you ever
hear him grind his teeth? Even if he doesn't he may have an ulcer. I haven't
read your past posts, am going to now, but PLEASE if you are going to "force
feed", be very patient, go SLOW and don't SQUIRT anything into the back of
his mouth. Tip of tongue or side of mouth towards the front only.

Good luck. Keep us updated.

Tiffany

PS Maybe Sprout doesn't like the Chicken or is allergic to it. We have one
like that. We got the Turkey and all was fine.
