I have asked around and no one seems to have noticed theirs being treated like kits but the implant does initially stimulate hormone production before it reduces so maybe the others are reqacting to this?

[Thanks. The update is that the behavior stopped.
It was just short term. Some other people have
also seen it short term in certain ferrets but it
seems to be rare with just certain individuals
responding to others that way while many have
never seen the behavior. Deciding if we'll try
a TN Panel, a Lupron shot, or both to be safest in
case more is going on.
