I have had 7 personal ferrets receive the Deslorelin implant, two who have since passed away (heart block and adrenal carcinoma/renal disease) and one additional foster who has since been adopted.
I have not noticed any difference in other ferrets' behaviours towards them as a direct result of receiving the implants. However, as the implanted ferrets changed, for example, became less aggressive and more playful, so did the response of others to them.
