Hi,
No, it is not normal. With adrenal disease some ferrets will only get
one symptom, like a swollen vulva. That is still probably the most
likely cause but it is by no means the only one possible. Missy needs
to go to a ferret knowledgeable vet as soon as you can arrange it to
determine what is wrong.
