With the damaged penis, is he able to void on his own? Or is he having to be manually expressed? The 'damaged' penis may have exacerbated a UTI and/or kidney infection. Is either vet optimistic that it will heal normally or is amputation being considered?
I am not aware of a clinical procedure that drains anal glands - nor a rationale for doing it??? Was perhaps a needle aspirate biopsy taken of the anal glands?
Are the kidneys cystic or infected or both? What do the renal values show?
Have any biopsies been taken? Or do the vets think his condition may be injury related?
