Subject: [ferrethealth] Sprout Update

I fed Sprout before taking him in to have his stitches removed.=A0 He weigh=
ed 2 lbs 4 ounces.=A0 A little artificially higher than what it really was.=
=A0 Before feeding him he weighed 2 lbs 2.7 ounces.=A0 He has been over 2 l=
bs 1 ounce for 5 days now.=A0 He has a lot of diarrhea which is tan or brow=
n and sometimes a little green.=A0 He is a lot more alert and more active b=
ut still rests a fair amount as compared to before he lost his weight.
=A0
While at the vets office I picked up some A/D and we are going to replace t=
he ensure with the A/D.=A0 So we will be feeding him pureed chicken mixed w=
ith A/D and water.=A0
=A0
We are thinking of mixing equal amounts of chicken, A/D, and water.=A0 Does=
this seem like a good idea or should we lean to more chicken and less A/D.=
=A0 We also thought about just the chicken and water.=A0 The main thing is =
that he maintains his weight.=A0 Since the day of his surgery he has gained=
6 ounces (well maybe 5 since the last weight may have been artificially hi=
gh).
