Sprout is currently getting 45 mls of pureed chicken 3 or 4 times a day.=C2=
=A0 Before today we were mixing it with ensure, today it will be mixed with=
just water, tomorrow we will see how he does when we mix it with A/D.
=C2=A0
His weight this morning was 2 lbs 3.1 ounces and when I went to get him for=
his morning feeding he was eating his kibble food.=C2=A0 (I let him eat as=
much kibble as he wanted then I gave him the chicken with water and his mo=
rning prednisolone and pepsid.
=C2=A0
He had his stitches removed yesterday and his incision looked good.=C2=A0 H=
e is a lot more alert now than before and just after surgery.=C2=A0 He is m=
ore active and as sweet as ever.
=C2=A0
We will continue to feed him and watch his weight.=C2=A0 His weight has run=
from 2 lbs 5 ounces to nearly 3 lbs.=C2=A0 I figure once he is above 2 lbs=
5 ounces consistently or if he reaches 2 lbs 7 ounces I will start to back=
down on the extra feedings (decreasing the amount slightly), while observi=
ng his weight and kibble eating.
