There can be several reasons for a cough.=C2=A0
=C2=A0
It could be asthma (some ferrets do get this).=C2=A0 It could be a pneumoni=
a.
If his nose if runny or congested this could cause a cough.
=C2=A0
One important thing not to over look is a cardiac condition like dilated ca=
rdio myopathy or another cardia problem.
=C2=A0
You should take this ferret to your vet so he/she can examine him to see wh=
at the source of the cough is.=C2=A0Be sure to mention any changes in your =
ferrets environment like new detergents, carpet/floor cleaners, bug treatme=
nts, food changes, etc.
=C2=A0
I will keep your ferret in my prayers

[While it makes sense to look at new things
it also needs to be remembered that allergies
usually happen with things to which an individual
has a lot of exposures so absolutely nothing needs
to change for something to become an allergen.
=20
That is because what happens with an allergy is
that a portion of the immune system begins
mistakingly identifying a number thing as an
invader then the NEXT time there is an exposure
the individual reacts. So, the more exposures
there is to something the higher the chances of
the individual having his or her body make that
error. That is why people who develop food allergies
typically get them to favorite foods, or to other things
eaten very often, for example, rice in southern Asia
is a more common grain allergy but wheat in northern
Asia is.=20

Some things become allergens more easily,
but pretty much anything with proteins involved has
the potential.=20

The highest number of allergies begin
during the years with strongest immune systems but
allergies can start at any age.
