Subject: [ferrethealth] Aerosol Chamber - Bronchitis -
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

Hi Everybody

Nahum 7 years old , was diagnosed on December 21 with :

* Mitral Regurgitation- moderate
* Congestive Heart Failure

Nahum is on :
- flurosemide 0.4cc each 12 hours
- Vetmedin - 0.25mg each 12 hours
- Prillium - 0.1ml each 24 hours

Since two weeks Nahum'breath is very fast and his heart is beating so fast too.

This morning he saw the cardiologist, the XRay showed that the heart has again grown since the last December.

Also their is many white points on the bronchi. On December this aera was dark on the Xrays.

At this point the cardiologist thinks Nahum is making a bronchitis.
Perhaps because the heart is so big, it makes a pressure on the bronchi too.

Dr did also blood tests, make sure Nahum isn't missing something as the potassium, as his little legs are losing strength. I don't have the result yet.

Because Nahum is small and Dr doesn't to make more damage in his body, he prescribed :
- Flovent HFA (125mcg) 1 push each 12 hours
- APO Salvent (100mcg) 1 push each 12 hours

I need to give this to Nahum with an aerosol chamber

The technicality shown me how to do it at the Hospital

Does any of you have some experience with that ?

Nahum really don't like it, I have tried with ferreTone coated inside the rubber mask. Nahum yes liked the ferrotone with his tong all out, but I was not able to have his nose inside the mask.

(Also Nahum is adrenal and had the Deslorelin implant since June 2009)

Any tips, suggestions are welcomed, as his heart is so fragile too, he doesn't need more stress than he can take.

Thank You

Marie-Agnes and Nahum
