I use a nebulizer.

I take a small plastic animal kennel and put tape over the sides and back air vents, leaving the front gate clear. Then I take a heavy towel and place it over the carrier so that it drapes all around and over the front gate. I put the medication with the sterile solution in the nebulizer cup, hook it all up, attach the mouth piece and wedge the mouth piece through one of the slats in the front gate under the towel. Depending on the size of the slats in your grate you may have to hold it by hand. Put the ferret in the carrier, latch the gate, lower the towel and turn it on. The carrier fills up with the medication solution and the ferret breathes it in. This is not stressful on any of my ferrets that I've used it on. I put a small pad in the bottom of the carrier for them to lay on but not blankets because I want them to breathe the medication in nut snuggle in blankets. I typically leave them in the carrier till all the medication has been dispensed and for at least 20
minutes.

If you haven't seen a nebulizer, you can search the web, or find a picture here - I'm not promoting this site only using it for the picture -

I'm not sure if you can hook your mask up to a carrier but that might be an option too.
