That means that you can't just copy things and send
them because you don't own them. To observe international
copyright law the owner of the material (usually the
author but sometimes a publication which bought the
article) must give permission for the use and the source
needs to be credited.
Here is what you can do legally which apply to the FHL:
You can paraphrase, i.e. use your own words.
You can use short quotes, or quote small portions of
the article.
You can carry abstracts and press releases in their entirety.
For anything else that you don't write yourself the FHL
Moderators must be sent permission by the person who
OWNS the piece of writing.
