Hi. Yes, we continued to feed him his normal diet from the previous owner. He ate Marshall food. It is still his favorite...when he will eat but he does actually like the other food as well. It's like he "wants" to eat but is nervous too.
We took him to the vet this past Monday morning and started the bloodwork. We are waiting for the test results now. In the meantime we purchased the Carnivore Care incase he won't eat any solids. We gave him his first batch and thankfully he liked it! He ate all of it.
A few hours later when he woke and was moving around I sat next to him with the Marshall food and some of the other hard food. Was uninterested in it "until" I started to hand feed it to him one piece at a time. Then he ate quite a bit. My gf said when I woke to get ready for work (I work nights), that Snowy had eated again - some solid treats and he has no issues with water. Still drinks plenty.
Ever since his choking scare he's been super clingy and cuddly. He just wants continuous attention and we give it to him! He's such a good boy. We learned today from his old vet that he is 3yrs old and his birthday was March 23rd.
I will save and try ur recipe, thank you.
