Hi Anne,=A0 Sorry to hear all that Rowdy is going thru.=A0 I'm wondering if=
it could be lymphoma, as you are now giving the Pred and he is now improvi=
ng.=A0 My guess that he wasn't eating and was rigid and his eyes closed and=
watering because he may have been in pain, and lethargic because of not ea=
ting, and not eating because of pain...etc.=A0 You mentioned that one lymph=
node was enlarged, do you know if the rest of them were?=A0 Did any vet sa=
y anything about his spleen being enlarged?=A0

When they found blood in his urine, did they test it for any infection?=A0 =
I would be sure to watch him pee... (you don't want him to block, it could =
be life threatening), if he is straining to get the urine out, or it is dri=
bbling, you could also be dealing with adrenal disease.=A0 How's his fur co=
at?=A0

Now that he's on the Pred, is he eating better?=A0 Check out this link:=A0=

www.miamiferret.org/physiology.htm=A0=A0 It has alot of good info on it, an=
d this section pertains to blood values... here is a part regarding the glo=
bulin:

> 7. Protein, Albumin and Globulin=A0

>Albumin is a kind of protein, and globulin is a
general term
for all proteins that aren't >albumin. The numbers
indicate the
ferret's general health and nutrition. Albumin also
>helps show
how well the liver and kidneys are working.

Hope Rowdy continues to improve.
