Subject: [ferrethealth] YAY! Hilbert's blood glucose was 128 tonight.

Tonight using a great tip from Jessica (a very kind FHL member)
we warmed Hilbert's feet first using a heating pad and then by
using a syringe point instead of a lancet (even the ultra-fine type)
we were able to get sufficient blood on the first try.
Hilbert was 128 tonight. Really good!
We use the Alphatrak on code 7, of course, since that is what is
reliable for ferrets.
