Hi, Jeff and everyone else,

Our vets in each case opted for the one month depot so that they could
make a fairly quick adjustment until they determined the proper
dosage. In Podo's case we stuck with the one month depot because our
vet didn't want to change anything that was working so well in an
extremely old ferret with a laundry list of medical problems and
medications he was taking. Between age 9.5 and roughly 10 Podo had
cardiomyopathy, recurrent adrenal and insulinoma both, and some other
minor issues which I can look up if necessary. I'm not at home right
now so I don't have his records handy. Anyway, considering all the
meds he was on I'm sure interactions were a concern as well.

Hope this helps.
