Thank you Dr. Murray and others for replying. I am going to print this out and hope my vet will do that. Like I say she was told to start him at 800 mcgs Lupron 1st month (which I can't afford at $297) and then following months at 200 mcgs (can affor at 120).
In the mean time, the casodex was already ordered and will be in on Monday. Will it be OK to start him on this until the Lupron comes in? Also, I have just learned about Deslorelin and really want it for him and possibly my other ferret if its a perventative....do you use this and if you do is there any doctors that you can recommend that have ordered and implanted the deslorelin in Georgia? I maybe could even travel outside of Georgia if someone reading this post sees this please email me doctors that you have used to get the Deslorin.
