I did see that Tressie, however he already had a block from enlarged prostate last week. I at least need to get him on the Casadox which will block the receptors on prostate so the DHT can't adhear..... which will then decrease his prostate so he doesnt get another block. I understand that he will still produce DHT, but it will not be able to adhere. And also he is getting oral melatonin...does that not decrease DHT?

and what will the testrostrone do over a 1 to 2 week period just until I can get him Lupron or Deslortin....I just don't want to be rushing him to emergency for another block.....

[Oral melatonin is less effective than the implant:

It is also possible to increase the natural production
of melatonin by providing access to enough complete darkness
so that the ferret can get into darkness for about a total
of 14 hours in each 24 hours.
The most disruptive wavelengths are blue and then green
so those are trouble.
The least disruptive light wavelength is amber so if you have to
have a small nightlight in that room go for that shade.
