Marci,

I so hope you've found a good ferret vet. A "general" vet who isn't
familiar with ferrets is NOT where you want to be. And, when it comes to taking
care of your little ones, "her way" is not good enough. I've just read a few
of your posts, I'm going to try and go through and read more, but, I hope,
pray, that you're listening to Dr. Murray and the others about how to
treat your adrenal guy. Propecia is a much better way to go than casodex. Also,
there is a fabulous compounding pharmacy in Marietta, East Marietta Drugs.
770 973-7600. They can make anything in any flavor. Where are you in
Georgia? There are several vets that treat ferrets here. Please, please, find
Loki a vet who can treat him properly. I also read that your vet mentioned
some HUGE dose of Lupron, I believe you got advice about the proper dosing
from others, maybe even Dr. Murray, who sees a couple thousand ferrets a
year. Please don't let this vet talk you into something. Don't feel obligated
to her if she's not treating Loki properly.

Let me know where you are so that we can help you find a good vet and a
compounding pharmacy.

sincerely,
Tiffany
