As for giving subQ fluids, try this method. I find if you put them on a counter at your height with a comfy towel underneath and put either a bowl of soup or a plate of ferretone in front of them, they will be busy eating that and accept the subq fluids. I can now do my own subQ fluids without the help of anyone else, as well as my own Lupron injections this way.
