As for preventing falls from the counter, I am always right in front
of him and "covering him" while slowly pushing the syringe. I just
let the needle sit in the area it is in once it is in, I do not have
to hold it. You need a very watchful eye. You cannot push the
syringe too fast as they do not like the cold going in. If you do
it slow enough, you are fine.
