Make sure they are not 'secretly' ingesting pieces of a toy, blanket, or other bedding that they might be tearing off. Also look in places where they go to hide to make sure there is nothing stashed that they might have eaten partially that could be causing the vomiting. Check the vomit and the feces for hair or other foreign objects. In feces, the hair could get compressed into strands that look like miniature ropes. Excess stomach acid, such as from ulcers, could cause vomiting as well.
