5mg/5ml is the same as 1mg/1ml and 0.225 mls is 0.22g mg or 0.44mg a day.
=C2=A0
In my opinion that is almost like giving nothing.=C2=A0 I have had 5 insuli=
nomic ferrets and we have never giving less than 0.5 mg=C2=A0 twice a day (=
that would be 1.0 mg a day).
=C2=A0
It is far worse to let a ferret have seizures than to give too much pred an=
d the dose you are giving is way too low.
=C2=A0
Of course I'm not a vet or any where near an expert but my advice (take it =
for what its worth) is you need to double your doseage of pred and you need=
to double it now.=C2=A0 Go up to 0.5 cc of your 5mg/5ml pred twice a day f=
or a total of 1ml a day.=C2=A0 Later after your ferret is doing better you =
can wean him/her down.=C2=A0 Don't let him/her have seizures just because s=
omeone doesn't want to go up on a miniscule doseage of pred.
