Dr. Sandra Kudrak Mitchell was able to get more information.

IMRAB 3 is safe. The buyers of Merial have no intention of
discontinuing it.

Furthermore, it turns out to be the best selling rabies vaccine
in the world so there is no question that the demand is there.
I have no idea what its profit margin is like but it would be
foolhardy to discontinue such a desired product.

There is no word yet on Merial Purvax canine distemper vaccine
for ferrets and how that will fair with this merger.

Last year saw multiple mergers and sales of veterinary product
lines and divisions, not just Merial's.
